Born 1996 in Heilongjiang, China, Jiuxin Zhu grew up in Beijing and received his Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Technology at University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2018 and his Master of Science in Integrated Digital Media at New York University in 2020.

Jiuxin is a New York based editor and cinematographer. After graduating from New York University, he has worked on feature films, multi-camera TV programs, branded videos and short films. He speaks English and Mandarin.

As an editor, Jiuxin works with Adobe Premiere and Avid Media Composer. He has worked on a feature documentary, Stuck In Greece: An LGBT Refugee Crisis, as an editor, and Telfar TV multi-camera programs as an assistant editor. He also produces and edits technology tutorials for Insider, Inc. He does sound editing in Pro Tools and color grading in Davinci Resolve.

As a cinematographer, Jiuxin is proficient in Sony and Canon cameras, and can accommodate to new equipment very fast. He has experience in scripted and unscripted branded videos and short films. He can also do multi-camera live streaming with NDI cameras. Jiuxin has streamed for a feature film, The Wandering Earth 2, a commercial and some events. He is familiar with lighting gears and griping gears as well.
